1st World War: There are a lot of events in world history that can depress and sadden you. World War I has to be the most depressing of all. While other wars like the American Civil War and World War 2 had definite and final outcomes, World War one was a war that ended millions of lives and solved nothing. My great great uncle Sam fought in the trenches of France actually, so whenever I think of WWI, I think of this guy I never met but my grandmother talks of.

Anyway, this documentary is a mix of stock footage, stock music and boring narration. It's from Dan Dalton and family who were the turkeys who made the insomnia curing "Thomas Jefferson: A Complex Life." I will give them credit, though. They made documentaries while I just dream of doing that.
